Okay, so, I’ve been on this mission to make some friends on Pokemon Go, specifically from Hawaii. You know, gotta catch ’em all, right? And some of those region-specific Pokemon are only available in certain parts of the world. So, I started this whole journey to find some buddies in Hawaii who could help me out with that.
First thing I did was hit up some online forums and communities. I found a few threads where people were sharing their friend codes and looking to connect with trainers from different regions. I saw a bunch of folks asking for friends from Hawaii, seems like it’s a hot spot for some unique Pokemon.
I left a few comments, saying something like, “Hey, I’m a daily player from [My Region], looking for some friends in Hawaii to exchange gifts with. I’m really after those region-exclusive Pokemon!” I also included my trainer code, which is this unique 12-digit number that lets people add you as a friend in the game.
Then, I waited. It felt like forever, but eventually, I started getting some friend requests! I was so stoked. I made sure to accept them all, and then I started sending out gifts. In Pokemon Go, you can send these gifts to your friends, and they contain all sorts of goodies, like Pokeballs and other items.
- People are really helpful. I was surprised by how many people were willing to add me, even though I’m not from their region.
- It takes time. You can’t expect to add a bunch of friends overnight. It’s a process.
- Sending gifts is key. People are more likely to keep you as a friend if you’re actively sending and receiving gifts.
- Comfey is the main goal.
Here’s what I learned from this whole experience:
So, yeah, that’s pretty much my story. I’m still working on building up my friend list, and I’m hoping to eventually get all those sweet, sweet Hawaiian Pokemon. It’s been a fun adventure so far, and it’s cool to connect with people from all over the world through this game. Also I know that we can get lucky Pokemon from trade, although I don’t have anyone to trade with. Wish me luck!
