Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this FC 24 game lately, and let me tell you, getting Cristiano Ronaldo’s card has been a journey. First off, I started playing the Ultimate Team mode, you know, where you collect player cards and build your dream team. That’s where the whole Ronaldo thing begins.
I opened a bunch of packs, hoping to get lucky. No dice. His Rare card is rated 86, which is pretty good, but not his best. I even saw an Inform version of him with an 88 rating, which would have been sweet, but that was way out of my price range in the game’s market. The prices for these cards, man, they fluctuate like crazy.

- Opened a ton of packs: I spent a good chunk of my in-game coins on packs, but it’s all random. You never know what you’re gonna get.
- Checked out the transfer market: This is where players buy and sell cards. Ronaldo’s card was always super expensive, so I had to grind a lot to afford him.
- Played matches and completed objectives: This is how you earn coins and other rewards in the game. It takes time, but it’s the main way to get stuff without spending real money.
From what I read online, this year is a little different. It seems like both Ronaldo and Messi have lower ratings than before. Still, they’re legends, so their cards are always in demand. The game has this Team of the Season thing where they highlight the best players, and guess what? Both Messi and Ronaldo made the cut. Pretty cool, right?
Grinding for Coins
So, I kept playing matches, completing objectives, and trying to earn as many coins as possible. It was a real grind, but I was determined to get that Ronaldo card. I learned some trading tips online. Buy low, sell high, you know the drill. Made some profit here and there, but it was slow going.
Finally Got Him!
After weeks of playing, I finally saved up enough to buy Ronaldo’s 86-rated Rare card. It felt amazing to finally add him to my team. He is not cheap, but the feeling when I finally have his card is amazing. I started him in a few matches, and let me tell you, he’s a beast. Even at 86, his shooting and dribbling are insane. It’s like, he’s 187cm tall, but he moves so smoothly on the field.
Now, I’m thinking about what’s next. I heard Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr ends in June 2025. It’s gonna be interesting to see what happens to his card in future versions of the game. Maybe I’ll try to get his higher-rated cards later on, but for now, I’m just enjoying playing with one of the greatest players of all time on my team.
It was a long and sometimes frustrating process, but getting Ronaldo in FC 24 was totally worth it. It’s one of those things that makes the game so addictive. You just want to keep building and improving your team. And, well, having Ronaldo on your team is a pretty good feeling, I won’t lie.
