Okay, so I’ve been a huge fan of Tomb Raider since I was a kid. Naturally, when I heard about the Tomb Raider I-III Remastered physical edition, I lost it. I knew I had to get my hands on it, no matter what.
First, I checked the news. It said the pre-order would close on June 23, 2024. And it mentioned this remastered collection would actually release on September 24. So I marked my calendar and set like a million reminders.
Then, I immediately jumped on the website. It’s a region-free disc, which is awesome. And it was available for PS5. I also noticed that there is going to be a Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered available on February 14, 2025, but I haven’t pre-ordered it yet, maybe next time.
I went through the pre-order process, which was pretty straightforward. You know, the usual stuff – add to cart, enter your shipping info, payment details. I opted for the Standard Edition. It comes with a physical copy of the game and a jewel case, which is all I really need. I mean, who needs extra fluff when you have got Lara Croft, right?
After I placed my order, I got a confirmation email. I kept staring at it for a good five minutes, probably. I’m just that excited! Then I started daydreaming about all the adventures I’d have, raiding tombs and outsmarting traps. It’s going to be epic!
Now comes the hard part: waiting. September 24th feels like a lifetime away, but I know it will be worth it. In the meantime, I might replay some of the older Tomb Raider games to get myself hyped up. Or maybe I’ll just watch some gameplay videos online. Or maybe both!
Anyway, that’s my story of securing the Tomb Raider I-III Remastered physical edition. I can’t wait to add it to my collection and relive those classic adventures with updated graphics.
