Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another little project I’ve been tinkering with. Today, I wanna share my experience messing around with something called the “itadori skin.” Now, I’m a huge fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, and Yuji Itadori is just the coolest, so I had to give this a shot.
So, first things first, I had to figure out what this “itadori skin” even was. Turns out, it’s a cosmetic thing you can use in different places, like games and stuff. There’s even this “Streetwear Yuji Itadori” skin in Fortnite, which I thought was pretty sick, but that wasn’t what I was going for. I wanted something a bit more… personalized, you know?

I started by digging around for some good images of Itadori. I found a bunch of PNGs with transparent backgrounds, which was perfect ’cause it makes them way easier to play with. I grabbed a few of those, thinking I could use them for my own digital art projects. I mean, who wouldn’t want a custom Itadori wallpaper, right?
Then I stumbled upon this thing where people were making Itadori skins for games. There were even separate skins for Itadori and Sukuna, which was a really cool idea. I guess some folks wanted to use these on their Xbox, so they made it compatible and everything. While I’m not much of a console gamer, I thought that was a pretty neat project.
After messing around with those images, I decided I wanted to try something different. I found out that you could get these other things called “Death Painting Wombs” in the manga and by consuming them, you could get some curse techniques. I thought that was so cool. Itadori has two curse techniques: Blood Manipulation and Shrine. I really wanted to try to put these on the images I found.
I started with Blood Manipulation. I added some red accents around Itadori, trying to make it look like he was using his blood powers. It was a bit tricky to get it right, but after a few tries, I think I got something that looked pretty cool. Then I moved on to Shrine. This one was tougher because it’s more of an internal thing, you know? So I decided to add some glowing effects to his eyes and hands, to make it look like he was channeling some serious cursed energy.
Here’s what I ended up doing:
- Grabbed a bunch of Itadori PNGs with transparent backgrounds.
- Played around with adding red accents to represent Blood Manipulation.
- Added glowing effects to his eyes and hands for Shrine.
- Made a few different versions, experimenting with colors and styles.
Honestly, it was a ton of fun messing around with these images and trying to bring a bit of that Jujutsu Kaisen magic to life. I’m not sure what I’ll do with these custom skins yet, but I’m thinking of making them into wallpapers or maybe even using them in some of my own little game projects. Who knows, maybe I’ll even try making skins for other characters like Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki. The possibilities are endless!
Anyway, that’s all for now. Let me know what you guys think, and if any of you have done something similar, I’d love to see it!
