Okay, so I’ve been playing Pokemon Go for a while now, and I gotta say, taking down raid bosses is one of my favorite things to do. Recently, I’ve been trying to solo this Druddigon raid, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a struggle. But I’m not one to give up, so I did some digging and tried a bunch of different strategies. Here’s what I found out.
First off, this Druddigon is a Dragon-type, which means it’s weak against Dragon, Fairy, and Ice-type moves. I know a lot of folks always say Dragons are weak to other Dragons, but I wanted to explore all the options. Also, it’s resistant to Electric, Water, Fire, and Grass, so I knew not to even bother with those types.

Team Building
- Mega Rayquaza: This thing is a beast. I used Dragon Ascent and Outrage, and it just melted Druddigon’s HP. This was my top pick for sure.
- Shadow Rayquaza: Similar to Mega Rayquaza, this one hits hard. Dragon Tail and Outrage did wonders. If you don’t have the Mega, this is a great alternative.
- Mega Garchomp: Another heavy hitter. I went with Dragon Tail and Outrage. The only downside is that it’s also weak to Dragon, so you gotta be careful.
- Shadow Salamence: This one’s a bit fragile, but if you can keep it alive, the damage output is amazing. Dragon Tail and Outrage again.
- Palkia – Origin: I tried this one because it’s got some solid Dragon-type moves. Dragon Breath and Draco Meteor did pretty well.
- Mega Salamence: Similar to Shadow Salamence, but with better defense. Dragon Tail and Outrage were my go-to moves.
I started with Mega Rayquaza as my lead because it just does so much damage. I made sure to dodge as many of Druddigon’s attacks as possible to keep it alive longer. Then, I followed up with Shadow Rayquaza and Mega Garchomp. These three alone almost took Druddigon down.
For the rest of my team, I had Shadow Salamence, Palkia – Origin, and Mega Salamence. I tried to time their entry to avoid Druddigon’s charged attacks. It was a bit tricky, but I managed to get in some good hits.
Honestly, the first few times I tried, I got wiped out pretty quickly. Druddigon hits hard, and if you’re not prepared, it can take down your team in no time. But after a few tries and some adjustments to my lineup, I finally managed to solo it. It was tough, but totally worth it.
So, if you’re struggling with the Druddigon raid, don’t give up! Try out these counters and see what works best for you. And remember, dodging is key. Good luck, and happy raiding!
