Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post about setting up an F1 23 car for Bahrain, written in the style you described:
So, I’ve been messing around with the F1 23 game lately, and let me tell you, getting the setup right for each track is a real pain. But, you know, it’s also kinda fun to tinker and see what works best. I spent a good chunk of time trying to figure out the Bahrain track, and I think I’ve finally cracked the code, at least for me.
First off, I messed with the Suspension. After a bunch of trial and error, I found that setting the Front Camber to -3.2 and the Rear Camber to -1.70 felt pretty good. It just seemed to handle the corners better. Then, for the Toe, I went with 0 for Front Toe Out and 0.15 for Rear Toe In. Honestly, I don’t know why, but it worked!
Now, the Suspension itself has a bunch of options, right? I cranked the Front Suspension all the way up to 41. It made the front end of the car feel super grippy, which is what you want, especially on a track like Bahrain with those long straights followed by hard braking zones.
Speaking of braking, I played around with the Brake Bias a lot. I ended up settling on around 55%. It felt like the sweet spot for me, but I could see going a bit higher or lower depending on your driving style. If you’re a bit more careful with the brakes, maybe go up to 58%. And if you’re using that ABS thingy, you can probably drop it down closer to 50%.
- Front Camber: -3.2
- Rear Camber: -1.70
- Front Toe Out: 0
- Rear Toe In: 0.15
- Front Suspension: 41
- Brake Bias: 55% (adjust to your liking)
So yeah, that’s what I’ve been running with on the Bahrain track in F1 23. It took some time to get there, but I’m finally putting in some decent lap times. It’s not perfect, and I’m sure some of you pros out there have even better setups, but for a regular guy like me, it’s working pretty well. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Maybe you can even tweak it further and make it even faster. Happy racing!
