Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this Odin deck in Marvel Snap, and I gotta say, it’s been a wild ride. I started off just trying to find a deck that could really use Odin’s ability to re-trigger “On Reveal” effects. I mean, that’s a killer ability, right?
First, I went through my collection, looking for cards with strong “On Reveal” abilities. I found White Tiger and Ironheart. White Tiger spawns a 7-power tiger to another location, and Ironheart gives three other cards +2 power. These two seemed like a perfect match with Odin, so I threw them into the deck.

I started playing a few games, just testing the waters, you know? I realized pretty quickly that the basic strategy was to drop Ironheart and White Tiger at the same location and then, bam, hit them with Odin on turn 6. This combo alone was often enough to win a location outright, but it wasn’t always consistent.
Next, I spent some time browsing online, looking at what other players were doing with Odin. There is a large database. I found some helpful ideas and also some useless pages like why I can not login again. Whatever, I ignored them and kept going. I learned that some people like to use Wolfsbane with Odin. Her “On Reveal” gives her +2 power for each other card at the location. With Odin, that can get out of hand fast!
So, I added Wolfsbane to the deck. And boy, did that make a difference. Now, I had a deck that could generate a ton of power in a single location. The core strategy was to build up a location with Ironheart, White Tiger, and/or Wolfsbane, and then unleash Odin. Sometimes I’d even get lucky and draw all four!
I played a bunch more games, climbing up the ranks. The deck was really powerful, but I still felt like something was missing. It felt a bit too predictable, you know? Like, if I didn’t draw Odin, I was kinda screwed.
Further Optimization
Then, after ordering some takeout for dinner, I had a brainstorm while eating. Why not add some cards that could benefit from being re-triggered even if I didn’t draw Odin? I thought about cards like Jessica Jones, who gets +4 power if you don’t play a card at her location the next turn. With Odin, she could get that bonus twice!
So I swapped out a couple of the weaker cards for Jessica Jones and The Thing. Now the deck had more flexibility. I could still go all-in on the Odin combo, but I also had other ways to win if things didn’t go my way.
I’ve been playing with this new version of the deck for a few days now, and it’s been a blast. It’s not just about winning, though it does win a lot. It’s about those crazy moments when you pull off a massive Odin turn and just obliterate your opponent’s board. One time, I had like 30 power in a single location! It was insane.
This Odin deck has been a fun experiment, I found that Wong is also a good card with Odin, but I didn’t have time to try it. It taught me a lot about deck building in Marvel Snap. It’s not just about finding the strongest cards, but also about finding cards that work well together and create powerful synergies. And sometimes, you just gotta experiment and see what happens. Who knows what other crazy combos are out there, waiting to be discovered?
