Today, I decided to spend some time catching that thorny little guy, Ferroseed, in Pokémon GO. I heard it’s the main Pokémon of some event, so I was pretty stoked.
Getting Started
First, I checked the weather. Turns out, Ferroseed likes sunny and snowy weather. Lucky me, it was a bright, sunny day. Perfect!

Finding a Good Spot
Next, I had to find a good spot. I remembered reading somewhere that a PokéStop or Gym with the right weather conditions is the best place. I found a PokéStop nearby that was basking in the sunlight.
Setting Up
Once I got to the PokéStop, I did a few things:
- I dropped a Lure Module on the PokéStop. This is supposed to attract more Pokémon to the area.
- Then, I popped an Incense. This makes Pokémon come to you, wherever you are.
The Waiting Game
With the Lure and Incense going, I started walking around the PokéStop. I kept my eyes glued to the screen, hoping to see that little spiky ball appear. And you know what? It worked! After a little bit of waiting, a Ferroseed popped up!
Catching Ferroseed
Catching it was pretty straightforward. I used a couple of Razz Berries to make it easier and threw some Great Balls. It took a few tries, but I finally caught one! I even managed to find a Shiny Ferroseed after a while. That’s a rare one, so I was pretty happy about that.
Wrapping Up
All in all, it was a successful day. I caught a bunch of Ferroseed and even got a Shiny one. If you’re trying to catch Ferroseed, just remember to check the weather, find a good PokéStop, use a Lure and Incense, and be patient. Good luck, and happy hunting!
