Okay, so, I wanted to get into this whole Madden 24 thing. I’ve never really played it before, but I saw some stuff online about Ultimate Team and training points, and it sounded kind of cool. So I jumped in.
First, I had to figure out how to even get these training points. Turns out, the easiest way is to just quicksell players. You know, those silver and gold cards you get. I started doing that, just selling off players I didn’t think I needed.

Then, I learned there are these new training and quicksell values in Madden 24. I had to wrap my head around all those numbers. It’s like, each player card has a different value, and you gotta figure out what’s worth keeping and what’s worth selling. I spent a good chunk of time just staring at the screen, trying to make sense of it all.
I also had this idea that maybe it should take time for players to learn the playbook. Like, in real life, right? Not just plug and play, where everyone’s instantly amazing. I thought it would be cool to have a system where you actually train your team, and they get better over time. So, I did this. I started actually paying attention to the training camp stuff in the game.

The Journey
- Started the game.
- Figured out quickselling.
- Tried to learn the new values.
- Got into the training camp mode.
- Trained my players, trying different things.
I spent hours doing this, man. Trying different training drills, seeing how my players improved. It was kind of a grind, but I started to see some progress. My players were getting a little better, not by a ton, but I could notice it. It felt good to see that my effort was actually doing something.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with Madden 24. It’s been a learning experience, for sure. I’m still not a pro or anything, but I’m getting there, one training point at a time. I finally got a great team after all these training.
