So, I’ve been grinding away in Genshin Impact lately, and let me tell you, the Battle Pass weapons have been a hot topic in my gaming circle. I decided to dive deep into this and see what the fuss was all about. Here’s what I found out from my own experience.
First off, I started by checking out the current Battle Pass, the “Spiritweaver” one. It’s pretty new, just dropped around November 20, 2024. It feels like they update these things frequently, so I always make it a point to look at what’s new each time.

Now, the real deal is figuring out which weapons are worth the grind. After some trial and error, I noticed that Serpent Spine and Wolf-Fang are the real MVPs. The reason? Their passive abilities are just so versatile. Seriously, you can slap these on so many different characters, and they just work wonders.
- Serpent Spine, man, that Claymore is something else. I equipped it on one of my claymore characters and bam! The damage boost is noticeable, and it just stacks up, making it a beast. No joke, I’ve seen people say it’s even close to some of those fancy signature weapons at R1. And at R5? Forget about it. It’s a monster.
- Then there’s Wolf-Fang. My buddy, who’s a hardcore Keqing main, swears by it. He swapped out his old weapon for this, and he’s been dishing out more damage than ever.
But it’s not just these two. I also experimented with the bows. For Ganyu, I initially tried a few, but ended up settling on the Scion. It just felt right, you know? The synergy with her kit is amazing. And for my Rosaria, I went with another Deathmatch. It’s all about that crit rate; the more she has, the better it is for the whole team.
Another weapon I got my hands on was the Ballad of the Fjords. My friend, who’s all about that hyperbloom Raiden, tested it out. And let me tell you, the results were insane. He said it outperforms even some of the R1 5-star weapons. For Xiangling, it’s just as nuts. I mean, some R2+ 5-star weapons might be better, but this thing holds its own, for sure.
And then there’s this Sacrificial Jade. I heard that besides a signature weapon called Tome of the Eternal Flow, it’s the next best thing. It seems like at max refinement, the crit rate boost is just through the roof. I haven’t maxed it out yet, but at refinement rank 5, it’s already pretty impressive. Started to grind a bit more after hearing this.
In the end, I realized that the Battle Pass weapons are more than just a gimmick. They can genuinely elevate your gameplay. Sure, not every character needs them, but finding the right weapon for your main can make a huge difference. It’s all about experimenting and seeing what works best for your playstyle.
So, that’s my two cents on the Genshin Impact Battle Pass weapons. It’s been a fun ride figuring all this out, and hopefully, my little experiment helps some of you out there. Happy gaming, folks!
