Alright, so I’ve been messing around with “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” for a while now, trying to figure out which weapons are the real deal and which ones are just, you know, meh. I’ve spent hours playing, testing out different guns and attachments, and basically living in the game.
First thing I did was jump into multiplayer matches. I wanted to see how each weapon felt in actual combat, not just against bots. So I started with the assault rifles. The TAQ-56, also known as the SCAR, quickly became my go-to. It just felt right, you know? Good damage, manageable recoil – it’s a beast.
Then I moved on to the M4. Everyone’s been talking about this one, saying it’s a must-have for “MW3.” I spent some time leveling it up, trying out different attachments. I slapped on the VLK LZR 7mW laser, the Agile Assault-7 Stock, and the Phase-3 Grip. Threw in a 45 Round Mag and an F… Rear Grip. The result? Pretty damn good. It’s like the gun transforms into a whole new beast with these attachments.
I also messed around with the AKS-74, which is apparently banned in competitive play. Let me tell you, this thing is ridiculous. The time-to-kill is insane, reload speed is super fast, and it even has clean iron sights. I can see why it’s banned – it’s almost unfair.
After that, I wanted to try something different, so I picked up the Lockwood Mk2 marksman rifle. This one surprised me. It’s got a good balance of damage, fire rate, and recoil control. I found myself hitting shots I didn’t think I could make. It quickly became my favorite marksman rifle in the game.
But not everything was great. I tried out some of the lower-tier weapons, and let’s just say there’s a reason they’re at the bottom of the list. Some had way too much recoil, others just didn’t do enough damage. It was a struggle to get kills with them.
Here’s a quick rundown of my weapon tiers:
- S-tier: TAQ-56, AKS-74, M4 (with the right attachments)
- A-tier: Lockwood Mk2
- B-tier: Most other assault rifles and SMGs
- C-tier and below: A mix of weapons that are just not worth the trouble
So yeah, that’s basically what I’ve been up to. Playing a ton of “Modern Warfare 2,” testing weapons, and figuring out the best loadouts. It’s been a grind, but a fun one.
