Okay, so, I wanted to talk about my grind to get that N’Golo Kanté FIFA card. It’s been a journey, let me tell you.
First off, I started playing a ton of FIFA Ultimate Team. I mean, like, a LOT. I was grinding through Squad Battles, Division Rivals, you name it. I just needed coins, and lots of them. I wasn’t going to spend real money on FIFA points, no way, no how. So, I had to play smart.

I started looking into budget beasts. The guys that are cheap but play way above their price tag. I found a few gems. There’s this guy, Gross, he’s free, and man, he’s a beast at right-back. I even moved him to center mid, and he was still cooking. There were some other decent ones too, like Fultz and Isaac, but they were not amazing. Also, I learned to use those free cards, TLC was pretty good. But they’re, like, just okay. Not the kind of guys who are gonna carry you to victory, you know?
I tried some of the recommended meta players, like Hegerberg, Russo, Athenea, and Bacha. They were pretty good, especially for their price. Garnacho too, he was a beast on the wing. But, they weren’t Kanté.
I kept playing, kept saving. I was flipping cards on the transfer market, trying to make a profit. I even did some of those Squad Building Challenges that give you packs. It was a slow process, but I was making progress.
Finally, after weeks of grinding, I had enough coins. I went to the transfer market, searched for Kanté, and there he was. That beautiful blue card. I hit “Buy Now” without even thinking. And it was done. I finally got my Kanté!
- Played a ton of Squad Battles and Division Rivals to earn coins.
- Used budget beasts like Gross, Fultz, and Isaac.
- Tried meta players like Hegerberg, Russo, Athenea, Bacha, and Garnacho.
- Flipped cards on the transfer market and did Squad Building Challenges.
- Saved up enough coins and finally bought Kanté on the transfer market.
It was a long and tiring process, but it was worth it. Having Kanté in my midfield is a game-changer. He’s everywhere, tackling, intercepting, and even scoring the occasional goal. If you’re thinking about getting him, do it. Just be prepared to put in the work. Or spend some money if you are not like me, I guess.
