Man, I gotta tell you about these Reshiram raids I’ve been doing. It’s been a wild ride, let me say.
So, first off, I had to figure out which Pokémon were even gonna be useful. I did some digging around, and it turns out Reshiram is a Dragon- and Ice-type, which means it’s weak to Dragon, Fairy, Rock, and Ground moves. I’m like, “Okay, cool, I got some of those.”

Then I started looking at specific Pokémon. This is where it got interesting. The word on the street is that Mega Rayquaza is the top dog. You want to hit Reshiram with Dragon Tail and Breaking Swipe. I didn’t have a Mega Rayquaza, so I moved on to the next suggestion.
Primal Groudon was the next best thing, supposedly. Mud Shot and Precipice Blades are the way to go with that one. Again, I was out of luck.
I saw Mega Garchomp and Mega Diancie on the list, too, with Dragon Tail/Outrage and Rock Throw/Rock Slide, respectively. But, you guessed it, I didn’t have those either. Mega Pokémon are pretty rare, you know?
So, I had to get creative. I started looking at Pokémon that were both strong against Reshiram and could take a hit. I found out that Ground and Rock types are great because they deal a lot of damage and they’re resistant to Reshiram’s attacks. That’s a win-win in my book.
I ended up putting together a team with some heavy hitters like Rhyperior, Terrakion, and Groudon. I even threw in a Tyranitar for good measure. These guys may not be Mega, but they’re still pretty tough.
The raids themselves were intense. It was like, Reshiram was throwing out all these crazy moves like Dragon Breath, Overheat, Draco Meteor, Stone Edge, and Crunch. My team was taking a beating, but they were dishing it out, too.
I tried a few different strategies, but it felt like nothing was quite enough. I mean, I won a few raids, lost a few others. It was a real mixed bag. I did start to get a feel for which Pokémon were performing the best, though.
At the end of the day, I didn’t become a Reshiram raid master or anything, but I definitely learned a lot. It’s all about picking the right Pokémon, knowing their moves, and hoping for a little bit of luck. And hey, even if you don’t win every time, it’s still a blast to get out there and battle. I even caught one or two Reshiram in the end, so it was all worth it, I guess.
