Okay, so I got this idea to make a logo for “Fortnitemares,” you know, that Halloween event in Fortnite. I’ve been playing the game for a while, and the event is always a blast. Figured it would be a fun little project to try out.
First, I needed some inspiration. So I started by looking up some existing logos and designs, basically, anything related to Fortnitemares. I just Googled it, you know. There’s a ton of stuff out there, fan art, official stuff, the whole nine yards. I saved a bunch of images that I thought looked cool or had elements I liked.
Then, I had to decide what I wanted my logo to look like. I knew I wanted to keep the spooky Halloween vibe, but also make it recognizable as Fortnite. I played around with a few ideas in my head, sketching some rough drafts on paper. It was a mess, to be honest, but it helped me visualize what I was going for.
Next, I tried out some free AI logo maker. I typed in “Fortnitemares” and messed around with different styles and options. Some of them were okay, but none really captured what I wanted. They felt too generic, not enough Fortnite feel to it. I didn’t use any of those.
Decided to do it myself. I’m not a professional designer or anything, but I know my way around some basic image editing tools. I used a free online tool, can’t remember the name right now, and started playing with shapes, colors, and fonts.
- I started with a dark background, purplish, like the Fortnitemares sky.
- Then I added some spooky-looking trees, kind of silhouetted against the background.
- For the text, I chose a font that looked kind of creepy but still readable. I made it bright orange, like a jack-o’-lantern.
- Added some bats flying around, because, you know, Halloween.
- I even tried to draw a little cartoon version of a Fortnitemares monster, but it looked terrible, so I scrapped that idea.
Here’s what I did:
It took a while, a lot of trial and error, moving things around, changing colors, all that stuff. I ended up with something I was pretty happy with. It wasn’t perfect, but it looked like a Fortnitemares logo, and I made it myself. That’s the important part, right?
I showed it to some of my friends who play Fortnite, and they liked it. Said it looked “legit.” Made me feel pretty good. It was a fun little project, and I learned a bit about logo design along the way. Might try making more in the future, who knows?
