Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this Pokemon, Froslass, trying to figure out the best way to use it in battles. It’s a cool Ice and Ghost type, but it’s got some weaknesses like Dark, Fire, Ghost, and Rock, so you gotta be careful.
First off, I started looking into what other people were saying about Froslass. I saw a bunch of stuff about “competitive movesets” for Sun/Moon and Sword/Shield Single Battles. Sounds fancy, but I just wanted something that works, you know? People were talking about maximizing damage and stuff, but that’s all gibberish to me.

- Tried out different moves: So, I started experimenting. I saw someone mention “Fake Tears” to boost Froslass’s damage, and “Snowscape” for some kind of evasiveness buff. There was also this “Aurora Veil” thing that’s supposed to help the whole team. I tried them out, but it felt like I was just pressing buttons without really knowing what they did.
- Hex and Shadow Ball seem to be the way to go: After a while, I noticed a lot of people saying that Hex and Shadow Ball are Froslass’s best moves. Apparently, this combo has the highest total DPS (that’s damage per second, I think) and is also good for PVP battles. I gave it a shot, and yeah, it seemed pretty strong. Froslass was hitting hard, and I started winning more battles.
- Checked out some charts: I even found some charts that show the DPS and TDO (total damage output) for all of Froslass’s different move combinations. I’m not a numbers guy, but it was kind of cool to see how different moves stack up against each other. It helped me understand why Hex and Shadow Ball are so popular.
- Still not sure about the best nature: I also saw something about Mild or Rash being the best natures for Froslass. I guess it has something to do with surviving certain attacks or boosting your opponent’s stats or something. I haven’t really messed around with natures too much, so I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes.
- Dealing with weaknesses: Oh, and I learned that Froslass is weak to a bunch of common Pokemon in Great League, like Bastiodon, Registeel, Charizard, and Umbreon. So, I started bringing a ground type like Whiscash to deal with the rock and steel types. It’s all about having a balanced team, I guess.
So, yeah, that’s pretty much where I’m at with Froslass. Hex and Shadow Ball seem like the best moves, and I’m trying to build a team that can cover its weaknesses. It’s been a fun learning experience, and I’m still figuring things out. If any of you have any tips or suggestions, let me know in the comments! I’m always open to trying new things. I still believe I can improve a lot more about it.
