Okay, let’s talk about this “Valorant Act End” thing. I’ve been grinding this game for a while now, and I’ve seen a few of these Act End things come and go. It’s always a bit of a scramble, so I figured I’d share what I’ve learned and how I usually handle it.
So, first off, what even is an “Act”? Basically, it’s like a mini-season within the bigger Valorant “Episode.” Each Episode lasts for a good chunk of time, and it’s broken down into three Acts. Think of it like this: an Episode is a big chapter in a book, and each Act is a smaller section within that chapter. Each Act runs for about two months. Then you start a new Act and after three you get a new Episode.

Now, at the end of each Act, a few things happen. The biggest one is your rank. It gets reset. Yeah, all that hard work climbing the ladder, and poof, it’s gone. But, don’t freak out! When you play one game it mostly goes back to your old rank. But when a new Episode starts it is a little different. You have to play five whole games before you get your rank. They call these “placement matches”.
These ranks go from Iron to Radiant. There are nine of them and each one except Radiant has three levels to go through. I’ve only gotten to Platinum myself, but that is okay. I do like to collect the little gun buddies they give out though.
Here is how I found out when this Act ends:
- Checked the timer: I went into the game, and right there on the main screen, they have a countdown timer for the Battle Pass. That timer tells you exactly how much time is left in the current Act. From what I saw, this one, Episode 9 Act 3, is looking like it’ll wrap up around Wednesday, October 23rd. I think these usually end on a Wednesday.
- Looked at past Acts: Every Act I’ve played in has been about two months long. With this Act ending around October 23rd that would mean it will probably end around January 7th. Just some simple math and looking at what they have done before.
So, there you have it. That’s my experience with Valorant Act Ends. It’s a bit of a roller coaster, with the rank resets and all, but it keeps things fresh. Plus, it’s a good excuse to try out new Agents or strategies without feeling too bad if things go sideways. Remember to check that in-game timer, and you’ll be good to go. Good luck with your grind, and maybe I’ll see you out there on the battlefield!
