Okay, so, about this whole “Valorant act end” thing. I’ve been grinding away at Episode 9, Act 2, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. So first off, I’ve checked around and found out that Episode 9, Act 2 is ending on October 23rd. Mark your calendars, people! That’s when the current Battle Pass wraps up, and the Premier schedule for this Act comes to a close.
Now, what happens when an Act ends? Well, your rank gets reset. Yeah, I know, it’s a bit of a bummer. But don’t freak out! I tried this on the last act end. All you gotta do is play one match, and boom, your rank’s back, almost exactly where it was before. Easy peasy.
After hearing some news about Episode 9, Act 3, and its release. I saw some chatter saying it’s gonna drop on October 23rd. And if things go like they did this season, the new act should kick off around 6:00 am PT. That’s 2:00 pm for those of you in the BST time zone. Oh, and the new content? It’s gonna get added to the game a day before with patch 9.08. So keep an eye out for that. I also managed to play other modes. You know, like Spike Rush and Swiftplay, and so on, for about an hour and a half. Then the servers went down for maintenance for a few hours. All in all, it was smooth sailing.
So, when is Episode 9, Act 3 expected to end? From what I gathered, it should be around January 7th, 2025. But you know how it is, Riot Games will drop the official date when it gets closer. We all know that each episode lasts around 6 months and has 3 acts. So each act lasts for approximately 2 months.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:
- Checked the end date for Episode 9, Act 2. It’s October 23rd!
- Confirmed that rank resets at the end of an act but is easily restored.
- Found out that Episode 9, Act 3 should start on October 23rd with patch 9.08 coming a day earlier.
- Played other game modes before server maintenance.
- Looked up the expected end date for Episode 9, Act 3, which is around January 7th, 2025.
