Yo, what’s up, guys! Today, I wanna talk about something I’ve been messing around with in Marvel Snap – building the best zoo deck. You know, the kind of deck that floods the board with a bunch of small, annoying cards and then buffs them up to become a real headache for your opponent.
So, where did I start? Well, first, I had to gather a bunch of those cheap, 1-cost cards. You know the ones – Squirrel Girl, Ant-Man, and the like. I wanted to be able to play them quickly and start putting pressure on the opponent from turn one. I also tried Sunspot in Turn 1, and Angela in Turn 2, and even nothing to save the energy for next turn.

Then, I needed some way to buff them up. That’s where Ka-Zar comes in. He’s the guy who gives all your 1-cost cards a little boost. He is such a great card in this deck. And if I wanted to be even more aggressive, I could throw in Blue Marvel, who buffs every card on the field. I had a lot of fun with this move.
- Collect 1-Cost Cards: I needed a bunch of cheap cards to flood the board early on.
- Get Ka-Zar: He’s the key to buffing up those 1-cost cards.
- Consider Blue Marvel: If I wanted to go all-in on the buffing strategy, he’s the guy.
Now, the trick with this deck is to not just dump all your cards on the board as soon as possible. Sometimes, it’s better to hold back a little bit. I learned that I should play some 2-5 energy cards before turn 6, maybe just 1 or 2 1-cost cards. And then I can just dump all my 1-cost cards at the last turn. I found that it’s a good strategy to win more cubes. If I can win more cubes than I lose, I can climb up that ladder!
I’ve been experimenting with different combinations of cards, and I’ve had some pretty good success with this deck. It’s not always easy to pilot, but when it works, it’s really satisfying. You get to watch your opponent struggle to deal with your swarm of tiny, but powerful, creatures.
My Game Plan
It’s really fun to play with this deck and I’ve been having a blast trying to climb up the ladder with it. It’s a nice change of pace from some of the other decks I’ve been playing. And it’s surprisingly effective if you play it right.
So, that’s my experience with building a zoo deck in Marvel Snap. It’s been a fun journey, and I’m still learning new things about it every day. If you’re looking for a new deck to try out, I definitely recommend giving it a shot. You might be surprised at how much fun you have with it!
