Alright, let’s talk about this Fashion Week event in Pokémon GO, specifically the Runway Stars Timed Research thing. I decided to jump in and see what it’s all about.
So, first thing’s first, I bought the ticket for this Timed Research. It’s 2 bucks, not a big deal. This unlocks a bunch of tasks that you gotta complete within a certain timeframe. This time it is from Nov. 15 at 10 am to Nov. 19 at 8 pm local time, so I need to finish before that.

Getting Started
Once I got the ticket, the tasks showed up. They’re all about catching different Pokémon, especially those fancy ones with the costumes, and taking snapshots of them. Pretty straightforward, really.
The Grind
I started by wandering around my neighborhood, keeping an eye out for any Pokémon that looked like they were dressed up for a fashion show. I caught a bunch of them – some with hats, others with bows, you get the idea. Every time I caught one, I made sure to take a snapshot. Gotta follow those task instructions, you know?
Challenges Along the Way
It wasn’t always smooth sailing. Sometimes, the costumed Pokémon were a bit rare, so I had to do some extra walking. But hey, that’s part of the game, right? I also joined some raids to get a chance at some of the rarer ones. Teamwork makes the dream work, as they say.
- Catching ’em all: Some of the required Pokémon were a bit elusive, so I had to be patient and persistent.
- Snapshot galore: Taking snapshots was easy, but remembering to do it for every catch took a bit of getting used to.
- Time crunch: With the event only lasting a few days, I had to make sure I was playing regularly to complete everything in time.
The Rewards
After all that walking and catching, I finally completed all the tasks. And you know what? The rewards were pretty sweet. I got a bunch of items, Stardust, and even encountered a special costumed Dragonite. Totally worth it, especially if you’re into collecting rare Pokémon like me.
So, that’s my experience with the Runway Stars Timed Research during Fashion Week. It was a fun little challenge, and I enjoyed hunting down those stylish Pokémon. If you’re a Pokémon GO player and you see an event like this pop up, I’d say give it a shot. Just be prepared to do some walking and have your camera ready!
