Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another one of my little adventures in Pokemon Go. Today, I’m gonna walk you through how I went about catching that Galarian Farfetch’d and even evolving it into a Sirfetch’d. It was a bit of a grind, but hey, that’s what makes it fun, right?
Getting Started with Galarian Farfetch’d
So, first things first, I had to actually find a Galarian Farfetch’d. These little guys aren’t just hopping around everywhere like some Pidgeys, you know? I did a bit of research online and it looked like I didn’t need to do anything super crazy to find one, they just weren’t that common. They are regional Fighting Pokmon, I knew they would be vulnerable to Flying type moves.

The Catching Process
I started by just playing the game as usual, walking around, hitting up PokeStops, and battling in gyms. After a couple of days, boom, there it was, a Galarian Farfetch’d on my screen. I used an Air Slash to beat it and finally I caught it. I made sure to use a good Berry to increase my chances and threw a curveball for that extra XP. Caught it! It wasn’t that hard, to be honest, just gotta be patient.
Choosing the Right Moves
Once I caught my Galarian Farfetch’d, I checked out its moves. I noticed some folks online debating about the best moveset. Some were saying Fury Cutter and Leaf Blade, others were talking about Brick Break or Brave Bird. I decided to experiment a bit. Turns out, at least for me, using Air Slash and Leaf Blade felt the best on defense. And when I wanted to go on the offense, Cut and Leaf Blade did a pretty solid job. I guess it really comes down to your play style.
Evolving to Sirfetch’d
Now, for the fun part – evolving this bird into Sirfetch’d. It’s not like your usual evolution where you just need candies. Nope, for this one, you gotta make Galarian Farfetch’d your buddy. So I did that, and then the game told me I had to make a certain number of Excellent Throws while it was my buddy. Man, I was walking everywhere, trying to get those perfect throws.
The Grind for Excellent Throws
This part took a while. I mean, I’m pretty good at the game, but getting Excellent Throws consistently? That’s tough, man. I spent days just walking around, catching everything in sight, trying to nail those throws. My buddy Galarian Farfetch’d was with me the whole time, probably wondering what’s up with all the extra walking, haha.
Success at Last
Finally, after what felt like forever, I hit that magic number of Excellent Throws. The option to evolve finally popped up. I mashed that evolve button so fast, and boom, there it was, my very own Sirfetch’d. It felt good, man. All that walking, all those throws, it was all worth it.
So, that’s my story of catching and evolving Galarian Farfetch’d. It was a bit of a journey, but that’s what I love about this game. It’s not just about catching them all, it’s about the adventures you have along the way. Hope you guys enjoyed my little story. Catch you all later!
