Alright, so I finally decided to tackle all the mysteries in Snotinghamscire in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. I’d put it off for a while, ’cause, you know, big area, lots of stuff. But I wanted that completion, so I dove in.
Getting Started
First thing I did was just ride around. Seriously, I just picked a direction on my horse and went. I figured I’d stumble across things naturally, and I did! Found a few cairns that way, which, honestly, are always a bit of a pain. Stacking those rocks… ugh.

The Cairns
The cairns were my first major hurdle. I think there are, like, two or three in Snotinghamscire? One of them, I swear, I spent a good 20 minutes on. Just fiddling with those darn rocks, trying to get them to balance just right. My tip: take your time, and don’t be afraid to walk away and come back later. A fresh perspective helps!
World Events/Mysteries
- Flyting: I found that flyting challenge with, what a name…Stigr The Amorous!, I finally nailed it! I’ve been practicing my rhymes, and it paid off. Beat him first try this time.
- Lost Drengr: Then there was that Lost Drengr. Man, those guys are tough. Took me a couple of tries, but I finally managed to take him down. Lots of dodging and parrying involved. Don’t be too aggressive.
- The cursed Symbol:There is a cursed area nearby Hemthorpe, and I used my torch throw it to the cursed symbol to destroy *!
- The legendary animal:I found that legendary animal, killed it.
Fly Agaric
Those Fly Agaric hallucination challenges… I did manage to finish it with a * key is that you should look very carefully and ignite the correct * a few tries,I did it.
Wrapping Up
After a few play sessions, I finally cleared all the mystery markers on the map. It felt good! That little “ding” sound when you complete something is so satisfying. My main takeaway from Snotinghamscire? Patience is key, and don’t underestimate the power of just exploring. You’ll find stuff you might miss if you’re just rushing from marker to marker.
So yeah, that’s my Snotinghamscire adventure. On to the next territory!
