Okay, so I’ve been trying to get better at Diana in URF mode, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I figured I’d share my experience, mostly because it’s been a mix of hilarious failures and some pretty sweet victories.
The Initial Idea
I saw some folks online talking about how insane Diana can be in URF, with all those cooldown reductions. I thought, “Hey, I like Diana, I like smashing buttons, this should be perfect!” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t quite that simple at first.

The First Few Games (aka Feeding Frenzy)
My first few games were… rough. I went in thinking I could just spam abilities and win. I’d jump in with my Q, try to land my E, maybe get a W off, and… die. Repeatedly. My K/D/A was looking like a phone number. I was basically a walking gold bag for the enemy team. I felt so useless, constantly getting one-shot before I could even do anything.
The “Aha!” Moment
After a few frustrating losses, I decided to actually, you know, think about what I was doing. I paid more attention to my positioning. I stopped just blindly jumping into the middle of five enemies.
And started to use this simple combo more efficiently:
- Hit Q to mark them.
- Only then Use R to dash in.
- Use E to pull enemies.
And instantly I understand that I should try to be patient.
The Turning Point
I started playing smarter, not harder.I farmed more, I’m focusing on getting items faster.I began to build Nashor’s Tooth first, then Lich * two, I think, are the best choices.I still died a lot, but now I was actually getting kills too!I can constantly use Q and R to harass * feeling of landing a perfect combo and deleting someone in a second was * was like a whole new world opened up.
Still Learning, Still Grinding
I’m definitely not a Diana URF pro yet. I still make plenty of mistakes. I still get blown up by that one fed enemy sometimes. But it’s way more fun now that I’m not just feeding constantly. I’m actually contributing to the team, and sometimes, I even carry! It’s a constant learning process, but that’s part of the fun, right? I even managed to get a few Pentakills, which felt awesome.
So, yeah, that’s my Diana URF journey so far. It’s been chaotic, frustrating, and ultimately, pretty rewarding. If you’re thinking about trying it, just remember: don’t be like early-me. Be patient, learn the combos, and for the love of all that is holy, don’t just jump into five enemies without a plan!
