Alright, folks, gather ’round. I’ve spent a good chunk of my time diving deep into the world of Apex Legends again this year, and boy, do I have some thoughts to share. With Season 23 shaking things up, it’s time to break down the Legends and see who’s really worth your time in 2024. I started by creating a new account, cause I figured, why not? Fresh start, fresh eyes on the game.
I played a bunch of matches, trying out every Legend I could get my hands on. I mean, I really put in the hours, folks. I wanted to see how these characters felt in the current meta, especially with all the class changes and the new in-game upgrades. I made a list. Then I crossed half of them out. Then I made another list. It was a whole thing, let me tell you.

- First off, I jumped into some casual games. Just to get a feel for the lay of the land, you know? I started with the free Legends, those are available from the beginning. Bangalore, Bloodhound, you know the crew. I got some wins, got some losses, started to see who felt good and who didn’t.
- Next, I started unlocking more Legends. Gotta spend those hard-earned Legend Tokens, right? I focused on the ones that looked strong on paper, based on their abilities and what I was seeing in my matches. I wrote down notes. Lots and lots of notes. Like, pages of notes.
- Then, it was time to hit the Ranked mode. This is where things get real, folks. I wanted to see how these Legends performed when the pressure was on. I went up and I went down, I’ve seen the highs and the lows. Made it to Platinum. Not the best, I know, but hey, I’m not a pro, just a guy who likes to play games and write about them.
After all that playing, all that note-taking, I started to see some clear winners and losers. So I did what any reasonable person would do: I made a tier list. I put those Legends into categories, from the ones I think are absolutely top-tier, to the ones that are, well, let’s just say they could use a little love from the developers.
My Personal Tier List:
- S Tier: These are the Legends I think are the best of the best right now. They’ve got strong abilities, they fit well into the meta, and they can carry you to victory. We’re talking about Legends like Wraith, Horizon, and the good old reliable, Pathfinder.
- A Tier: These Legends are really solid picks. They might not be as dominant as the S Tier folks, but they can definitely hold their own. Legends like Octane and Loba ended up here. Super fun, super useful.
- B Tier: Now we’re getting into the middle of the pack. These Legends are okay, but they might need a specific team comp or playstyle to really shine. I ended up putting Crypto and Wattson in here. Love ’em, but they’re not for everyone.
- C Tier: These are the Legends that I think are struggling a bit right now. They might have some niche uses, but overall, they’re not the best choices if you’re trying to climb the ranks. Sorry, Mirage mains, but he’s just not cutting it for me these days.
- D Tier: Honestly, I didn’t even make a D Tier, but if I did. you know, the one who is always picked last.
So, there you have it, folks. That’s my Apex Legends tier list for 2024. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about it. And even more time playing. Hope you found this helpful. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some more games to play. Gotta keep grinding, you know?
