Okay, so I’ve been trying to snag a Galarian Darumaka in Pokémon Go, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I heard these little guys were around, but they’re not just hopping out of the bushes like those common Pidgeys, you know?
First off, I started by just wandering around my usual spots, hoping to get lucky. I mean, that’s how I’ve caught most of my Pokémon, just casual strolls through the park or around the block. I popped a few Incenses to see if that would help, but no dice. Galarian Darumaka was playing hard to get.

Then, I remembered reading somewhere that sometimes these rarer Pokémon show up in Eggs. So, I got to walking and hatching, walking and hatching. I went through so many Incubators, my step count was through the roof! I was starting to feel like a real Pokémon trainer, minus the cool hat. Still, my efforts were in vain.
- Tried walking around
- Tried using some Incense
- Tried hatching Eggs
After that, I figured maybe I needed to switch up my strategy. I started paying more attention to in-game events. You know, those special times when certain Pokémon are more likely to appear? And bam, I noticed there was something about certain Pokémon with different forms or something like this.
Event Hunt
So, I dove into the event, battling in Raids, completing those little tasks they give you, and just generally playing a lot more than usual. I was on a mission, and nothing was going to stop me. I even teamed up with a few friends, figuring there was strength in numbers. We raided together and we were all hoping to get it.
And guess what? It finally paid off! After a Raid battle, I had one spawn right in front of me. It was such a rush, seeing that little blue Darumaka pop up on my screen. I tossed a berry, took a deep breath, and threw my best curveball. And I caught it! It wasn’t even that strong, but I was so stoked.
It took a while, but I finally got my Galarian Darumaka. It just goes to show, sometimes you gotta be patient and put in the work. Now, onto the next challenge, right?
