Okay, here is my sharing about the Azelf raid guide:
So, I heard there was this Azelf raid going down, and I thought, “Why not?” I mean, it’s not every day you get to try and catch a legendary Pokemon, right? So, I gathered a few of my buddies who are also into Pokemon Go, and we decided to give it a shot. We met up at the gym where the raid was happening, all excited and ready to go.

First things first, we needed to figure out what Pokemon to use against Azelf. After doing some quick research, we found out that Dark, Ghost, and Bug-type Pokemon are the way to go. So, I put together a team with my strongest Tyranitar, Gengar, and Scizor, hoping for the best.
- Brought together my top Tyranitar, Gengar, and a trusty Scizor.
- Checked the weather in-game ’cause that can boost certain Pokemon types.
- Made sure we had enough raid passes. Nothing worse than running out mid-raid.
When the raid started, it was pretty intense. Azelf was throwing out some powerful psychic attacks, but we were holding our own. We kept dodging and attacking, trying to take it down as quickly as possible. My Tyranitar was doing some serious damage with its Bite and Crunch moves, and my Gengar’s Shadow Ball was also hitting hard.
There were about six of us in the raid, and we were all working together, calling out when to dodge and when to use our special attacks. Teamwork is key in these raids, you know? You can’t just go in solo and expect to win.
After a tough battle, we finally managed to defeat Azelf! It was a close call, but we did it. Then came the most nerve-wracking part: trying to catch it. I used a Golden Razz Berry to increase my chances and started throwing Premier Balls.
I threw the ball… and missed. No big deal, I’ve got more. Threw another one… it broke free. This went on for a few more balls, and I was starting to sweat. Finally, on my second to last ball, I threw a perfect curveball, and it stayed in! I caught Azelf! Man, that was a rush.
My Tips After the Raid:
- Golden Razz Berries: Always have a bunch. They really help.
- Curveballs: Practice those curveballs. They increase your catch rate.
- Be Patient: Don’t get discouraged if it breaks free a few times. Just keep trying.
After the raid, we all compared our catches. Some of us got luckier than others with the IVs, but everyone was just happy to have caught it. We hung out for a bit, traded some Pokemon, and talked about our next raid plans. It was a great day overall, and I’m already looking forward to the next legendary raid.
Hope this helps some of you. Good luck out there, and happy raiding!
