Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this whole Hitman thing, trying to get all my stuff from the old games into Hitman 3, you know, the “carry over” process. Let me tell you, it wasn’t as simple as I thought it would be.
First off, I had to find this special website they set up just for this. Apparently, it’s the only way to transfer your progress. I searched for it for quite a while, it showed me that I needed an IOI account to log in. I dug out my old login details for that thing – who even remembers those, right? Anyway, once I was in, it started to get a bit more complicated.

What I Did
- Logged In: This was step one. Found the site, typed in my email and password, and boom, I was in.
- Linked Accounts: Here’s where it got tricky. I had to link my old Hitman accounts (yeah, I had a couple) to this IOI account. It wasn’t super clear how to do this, but I poked around and figured it out.
- Initiated Carry Over: There was a big button that said something like “Start Carry Over.” I clicked it, obviously. Then it asked me to confirm everything, like which game’s progress I wanted to move over and all that.
- Waited: And then, the waiting game. It takes a while for the system to do its thing. I went to make some coffee, watched a couple of videos, and hoped for the best.
- Checked and Done: After a while, I came back and checked. And there it was! All my progress, my suits, my XP, everything was in Hitman 3. Success!
It wasn’t too bad once I got the hang of it. Although there are some weird things. I heard that an update removed some Hitman 1 and 2 progress, even if you didn’t buy the new one. I don’t know if that is true or not. I tried to find out how to open a locked gate. Some dude says you can find the entrance on the right side of the boat, and I can use a lockpick to get in. Not sure if this is helpful with the carry over thing. And I tried to use a banana or a grapevine to make someone slip, but it didn’t work. Maybe I did it wrong.
If you’re planning to do this, just make sure you have all your account info ready and be prepared to wait a bit. It’s worth it in the end, though. Now I can finally start playing Hitman 3 with all my old goodies!
