Oh, lemme tell ya ’bout that Obsidian Gravewing, it ain’t somethin’ ya just stumble on, ya gotta work for it. Now, first things first, ya can only get this mighty beast if ya been spendin’ time with them Venthyr folks. Ya gotta reach that big ol’ 70 Renown with ’em. If ya ain’t got that, well, ya ain’t ridin’ this bird anytime soon, lemme tell ya.
Now, if ya do manage to hit that 70 Renown mark, ya wanna head over to a fella named Chachi the Artiste. Funny name, I know, but he’s the one who’ll sell ya the Obsidian Gravewing. It ain’t cheap either, costs a good 7500 anima, and anima ain’t somethin’ that grows on trees. But for a beast as fine as the Obsidian Gravewing, well, I’d say it’s worth every drop of anima ya got.
Where to Find Chachi:
- Ya gotta go to Revendreth, a dark, gloomy place if ya ask me.
- Look for the Foregrounds, over in Dornogal.
- Chachi sits there, usually lookin’ real fancy, waitin’ for someone with enough anima and Renown to come buy that mount.
- Coordinates are ’round 57.2, 60.8, but if ya ain’t got some fancy addon to help with that, just keep yer eyes peeled, ya can’t miss him.
Now, I ain’t got no fancy map or nothin’, but if ya don’t know the way ’round Revendreth, maybe ask a friend or use one o’ them guide books folks carry. Or just wander a bit ’til ya see that table where Chachi likes to sit. He’s always sittin’, don’t know how he does it.
Now, if yer wonderin’ what this Obsidian Gravewing looks like, lemme paint ya a picture. Big ol’ wings as black as the night sky, with a shine that almost looks like glass, like someone polished ’em up real nice. It’s one of them mounts that makes folks turn their heads when they see ya flyin’ ’round on it. Mighty impressive, if ya ask me. And it ain’t just for show neither, this mount can get ya places fast, swoopin’ ’round like some big ol’ bird o’ prey.
What Ya Need:
- First thing, like I said, ya need 70 Renown with the Venthyr covenant.
- Then, ya need 7500 anima. It’s a lot, but if ya been workin’ hard, ya should have enough.
- Go see Chachi the Artiste at those coordinates I mentioned before.
- Make sure ya bring all that anima, ’cause he ain’t givin’ that mount away for free.
Now, there’s some folks out there lookin’ for other Gravewings, like the Pale one. That one’s cheaper, only costs 1000 anima and ya can get it from some fancy lady named Duchess Mynx. But let me tell ya, the Obsidian one, that’s the one ya really want. It’s bigger, bolder, and if yer already with the Venthyr, why not aim for the best, right?
One more thing, if yer thinkin’ this is one o’ them easy rides, think again. Ya gotta put in the time with the Venthyr, and earn that Renown. It ain’t somethin’ ya can just skip over. But once ya do, oh boy, it’s worth it. Flyin’ ’round Revendreth on that shiny Obsidian Gravewing, ya’ll feel like the king o’ the skies. And the folks in town, well, they won’t stop lookin’ at ya.
So, if ya ready to work, and ya got that anima saved up, go find Chachi. He’ll be waitin’, sittin’ there like always, ready to hand over that beauty o’ a mount once ya pay up. Just don’t go thinkin’ ya can haggle with him, Chachi ain’t the type to cut deals, trust me on that.
