Man, I gotta tell you about this Kyurem raid I did in Pokemon Go. It was a wild ride, let me just say. So, I saw that Kyurem, this legendary Dragon and Ice-type Pokemon, was gonna be in raids. I’d been wanting to catch one for a while, so I was pretty pumped.
First thing I did was check what this beast was weak against. Turns out, Fighting, Rock, and Steel-type moves are super effective. Good to know, right? I started gathering my strongest Pokemon with those types of moves. I had a couple of Machamps, a solid Rhyperior, and a Metagross that I was ready to unleash.

I also did a bit of reading up on Kyurem’s possible moves. Apparently, it can use Blizzard, Dragon Claw, Draco Meteor, and Glaciate. Mostly Ice and Dragon stuff. This helped me figure out which of my Pokemon could take a hit and keep on going.
The day of the raid came, and I teamed up with a bunch of other trainers. We were all ready to go. When the battle started, I led with my Machamp, throwing out those Dynamic Punches like there was no tomorrow. The other trainers were using a mix of Fighting, Rock, and Steel-types too. We were doing some serious damage!
- I noticed Kyurem was using Dragon Claw a lot, which wasn’t too bad for my Machamp.
- But when it hit us with Blizzard, man, that was rough! A couple of my Pokemon fainted, but I revived them quickly and got back in the fight.
- My Rhyperior with Rock Wrecker was a champ, taking those hits and dishing out damage.
It was a tough battle, ngl. We were all on the edge of our seats, watching that timer tick down. But we kept at it, dodging when we could, and using our charged attacks strategically. Finally, with just seconds left on the clock, we defeated Kyurem! It felt amazing!
Catching That Dragon
Then came the moment of truth – trying to catch it. I used Golden Razz Berries and threw Excellent Curveballs, but that slippery dragon broke out a few times. My heart was racing! Finally, on my last Premier Ball, I caught it! Yes! I was so stoked.
So yeah, that’s the story of my Kyurem raid. It was a real team effort, and I couldn’t have done it without those other trainers. Now I’ve got this awesome Kyurem in my collection, and I’m ready for the next big raid. Catching them is one of my favorite parts! Hope you enjoyed my little adventure!
