I’ve been messing around with CS:GO, or CS2 as they call it now, for a while. Recently, I thought I’d try out what the pros are using, you know, just for kicks. So I stumbled upon ScreaM’s settings and figured, why not give them a shot?
First off, I had to find out what his settings actually were. I hit up a couple of sites, I think one was called “prosettings” or something, and I got the whole list. His crosshair code, DPI, mouse settings, all that jazz. His crosshair code is CSGO-NoQ4v-O6TV9-rsR9E-6PiDQ-nxjjD, which I’d never used before.

Getting these settings into the game was the next hurdle. From what I gathered, you just copy this code and paste it into the console in the game. Sounds simple enough, right?
So, I launched CS2, opened up the console, and pasted ScreaM’s crosshair code. Then I copied and pasted all of his other settings like his sensitivity, video settings, and whatnot. Some sites have the full list. Oh, and he uses a Finalmouse Ultralight 2, and he sets his DPI to 400. I did the same, even though I don’t have that exact mouse. The whole process was kind of a pain, not gonna lie.
Once everything was set, I jumped into a game to see how it felt. It was… different. Took me a while to get used to it. I was missing shots I’d normally hit, and my movement felt a bit off. But after a few rounds, I started to get the hang of it.
Here’s what I’ve been messing with, based on ScreaM’s setup:
- Crosshair Code: CSGO-NoQ4v-O6TV9-rsR9E-6PiDQ-nxjjD
- DPI: 400 (that’s what ScreaM uses with his Finalmouse Ultralight 2)
- Sensitivity: I copied his sensitivity from one of those pro settings sites.
- Video Settings: I matched his settings, but honestly, I tweak these based on my PC’s performance.
Honestly, I’m not sure if I’ll stick with these settings permanently. It’s cool to try out what the pros use, but at the end of the day, it’s all about what feels right for you. Still, it was a fun experiment. I didn’t suddenly become a CS:GO god or anything, but hey, it’s always interesting to try new things, right?
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with ScreaM’s settings in CS2. Maybe I’ll try some other pro’s settings next, who knows. If any of you guys have tried this, let me know how it went for you!
