Okay, so today I wanted to try something out in Pokemon GO – catching that Genesect with the Douse Drive. I’d heard a bit about it and thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
First off, I did a little digging around to figure out what this Genesect (Douse Drive) was all about. Turns out, it’s a Bug and Steel-type, which I thought was pretty cool. I saw that its signature move is this thing called “Techno Blast (Douse),” which sounded powerful.

I got myself ready for a raid battle, knowing this Genesect would be tough. From what I gathered, it’s weak against Flying and Rock-type moves. So, I picked out my best Flying and Rock-type Pokemon, hoping they’d do the trick.
The Raid Battle Begins
The battle started, and boy, was it intense! I threw everything I had at it – Fury Cutter, Magnet Bomb, you name it. This Genesect has a bunch of Charge Attacks like Magnet Bomb, Gunk Shot, X-Scissor, and of course, Techno Blast. It was a real mix of Steel, Poison, and Bug-type moves, so I had to stay on my toes.
I kept dodging and attacking, trying to find the best strategy. It was a tough fight, and I had to use a few revives and potions along the way. I learned that timing those dodges just right made a big difference. There were moments when I thought I had it cornered, but then it would unleash a powerful attack, and I’d have to rethink my approach.
Victory at Last
After a lot of back and forth, I finally managed to defeat it! It was such a relief. I threw a few Poke Balls, and on the third try, I caught it! It felt great to finally add Genesect (Douse Drive) to my collection.
Post-Battle Thoughts
Looking back, it was a pretty wild ride. I learned a lot about battling strategies and how to use different types of Pokemon effectively. Plus, adding Genesect (Douse Drive) to my team felt like a major win.
So yeah, that was my adventure trying to catch Genesect (Douse Drive) in Pokemon GO. It was tough, but totally worth it. If you’re thinking of trying it, just be prepared for a good challenge and make sure you have a solid team ready!
