Okay, here is my sharing about “best Hitmonchan moveset” today:
So I’ve been playing Pokemon for a while now, and Hitmonchan has always been one of my favorites. It’s just so cool, you know? Anyway, I wanted to figure out the best moveset for this guy, so I did a little experiment.

First, I caught a bunch of Machops. Yeah, Machops, because that’s what evolves into Hitmonchan. I spent hours running around in the grass, throwing Pokeballs. My thumbs got a workout, let me tell you. Finally, I had a decent Machop with good stats. I named him “Punchy,” because, why not?
Next, I started training Punchy. I battled wild Pokemon, other trainers, everything. It was a grind, but I was determined to get him to evolve. Eventually, Punchy evolved into Machoke, and then, finally, into Hitmonchan. Success!
- Then came the hard part: figuring out the moves. I tried a bunch of different combinations.
- First I was using all these fighting moves, you know, like “Close Combat” and “Drain Punch”.
- That was okay, but it felt kinda boring.
- Then I thought, hey, maybe I should try some elemental punches, like “Ice Punch” and “Thunder Punch.”
- That was pretty cool, but it didn’t seem to be doing enough damage.
I kept experimenting, switching moves around, battling, and taking notes. I filled up pages in my notebook, scribbling down damage numbers and stuff. My room became a mess, full of crumpled papers and empty energy drink cans.
Finally, after days of this, I found it. The perfect moveset!
- Close Combat: This is still a great move, super powerful.
- Ice Punch: Gotta have this to deal with those pesky Flying and Dragon types.
- Thunder Punch: This one’s great for Water types, and it can paralyze, which is always helpful.
- Mach Punch: This move is a lifesaver. It’s a priority move, so you can often hit first, even if the other Pokemon is faster.
With this moveset, my Hitmonchan, Punchy, became a beast! He was taking down all kinds of Pokemon, even ones that were supposed to be stronger. I was so proud. I felt like a real Pokemon master, you know? It was like that quote, “Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” This really inspired me a lot. And I really did it very well. So yeah, that’s my story of how I figured out the best moveset for Hitmonchan. It was a lot of work, but totally worth it. Trust me, try it out!
