Alright, let’s talk about this League of Legends thing, specifically the end of Split 2. Man, it’s been a grind, hasn’t it?
So, I started this split with the goal of climbing the ranked ladder. You know, the usual deal – trying to improve my gameplay, get better at my favorite champions, and hopefully, reach a higher rank than before. I spent countless hours watching tutorials, reading guides, and practicing in the game. I queued up for ranked games almost every day.

First few weeks were rough. I bounced between divisions, sometimes winning a bunch, sometimes losing just as many. It was a real rollercoaster. There were days when I felt like I was on top of the world, carrying games left and right. Then there were days when I just couldn’t catch a break, making silly mistakes and feeling like I was dragging my team down.
I remember this one time I went on a massive winning streak. I was playing my heart out, landing every skill shot, making the right calls, and just dominating the game. It felt amazing. I gained so much LP that I skipped a whole division. I thought, “This is it, I’m finally going to hit that next rank.”
But then, as it usually happens, I hit a wall. I started losing more games than I was winning. It was frustrating, to say the least. I started questioning everything – my champion pool, my decision-making, even my mouse sensitivity, lol. I even took a short break from ranked, hoping to reset my mental state.
After the break, I came back with a renewed focus. I reviewed my gameplay, trying to identify my weaknesses and work on them. I focused on a smaller pool of champions that I was really comfortable with, and I tried to improve my communication with my teammates. It wasn’t easy, but slowly but surely, I started seeing some improvements.
The End of Split 2
Now, with the end of Split 2 on September 24th, it’s time to reflect on the journey. I managed to climb a few divisions, which I’m pretty happy about. And from the official info, it seems the next split will begin in Patch 14.16. And there is a new season set-up waiting for us in 2025. It’s not the huge leap I initially hoped for, but hey, progress is progress, right?
- Started the split with a goal.
- Played a ton of games.
- Experienced ups and downs.
- Learned from mistakes.
- Ended the split with some progress.
More importantly, I think I’ve become a better player overall. I’ve learned a lot about the game, about myself, and about the importance of perseverance. I know some new change is coming in 2025, but I feel ready. Ranked can be a real grind, but it’s also incredibly rewarding when you see yourself improving. So, bring on Split 3, I guess! I’m ready for the next challenge.
And that’s my story with League of Legends Split 2. It’s been a wild ride, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I am not the pro, just a noob loving to play it.
