Okay, so today I stumbled upon this thing called “TFT Boardle” and, let me tell you, it’s kind of addictive. Never really played Teamfight Tactics before, figured it was some complicated strategy thing. But I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
First, I had to figure out what the heck TFT even is. Turns out, it’s like a chess game but with these little champions that fight for you. You gotta build a team, upgrade them, and, well, try not to lose. There are also different sets with different champions and themes. This one is called Set 13 “Into the Arcane”. I just randomly picked it cause I was curious.

So, I watched some basic guide thing online. It talked about some simple stuff like how to buy champions, put them on the board, and combine them to make them stronger. It’s actually pretty simple once you get the hang of it. I got a bit confused but it didn’t matter. I just started playing and messed around.
The guide also mentioned something about “low elo” players and bad habits. I guess “elo” is like your ranking or something. And I’m definitely “low elo” since I’ve never played before! The guide was meant for newbies like me, so it was perfect. And it did mention that players at my level have bad habits, I should be careful.
My first few games were, well, a disaster. I had no idea what I was doing. I just bought random champions and hoped for the best. It was all messed up, I even put them in the wrong place. Needless to say, I lost. Badly. But then I started to pick up on some things. Like, certain champions work well together, and you gotta manage your gold, otherwise, you will have nothing to do during the game. I was really a noob, but I did learn some stuff.
I played a few more games, experimenting with different team compositions. I even managed to win a couple of rounds! It felt pretty good, even though I still have a long way to go. I’m still figuring out all the different champions and items, but it’s getting easier. The item system is another thing that I’ve no clue about. But overall I’m improving!
Here’s what I’ve learned so far:
- Gold management is key. Don’t just spend all your gold every round. This is probably one of those “bad habits” the guide was talking about.
- Pay attention to synergies. Certain champions have traits that boost each other. This is actually quite simple, you just match them with similar traits.
- Don’t be afraid to experiment. Try out different champions and see what works. You can also check out those so-called strategies online.
- It takes time. Just like anything, you’re not gonna be a pro overnight. Keep playing, and you’ll eventually get better. You just have to put in the hours.
I’m definitely going to keep playing TFT Boardle. It’s a fun and challenging game, and I’m excited to see how much I can improve. Maybe one day I’ll even get out of “low elo”! Who knows. But for now, I’m just enjoying the ride and learning as I go. And hopefully, I won’t develop too many of those “bad habits.”
