Alright, so, I’ve been messing around with some stuff in the game, you know, just trying things out. And I stumbled upon this item, Bloodletter’s Curse. Apparently, it’s from Arena, and now it’s an option for penetration items for those AP bruisers, like Gwen or Mordekaiser.
I decided to give it a shot. First, I picked Gwen and went into a practice game. I started playing around, seeing how this Bloodletter’s Curse actually worked. I tried it out on minions, then champions. You know, the usual testing stuff.

Then I switched to Mordekaiser. I wanted to see if there was any difference in how the item felt. I repeated the same process, hitting minions, poking champions. I spent a good amount of time just getting a feel for it with both champions.
- With Gwen, the item felt pretty good. I noticed I was doing more damage than usual, especially when I combined it with her other abilities.
- On Mordekaiser, it was similar. I could definitely feel the extra punch in my attacks. It seemed like it gave him a nice boost in those longer fights.
Findings
After that, I jumped into a few normal games. I wanted to see how this thing performed in a real match. I played a couple of games with each champion, trying to use Bloodletter’s Curse whenever I could.
Honestly, it felt pretty strong. I was winning more duels, and my overall damage seemed higher. I even managed to carry a game with Gwen, which was pretty sweet.
So, yeah, that’s my little experiment with Bloodletter’s Curse. It’s definitely an interesting item, and I think it could be really good on certain champions. I’m gonna keep playing around with it, see what else I can discover. Maybe I’ll find some other cool combinations or strategies. Who knows?
Anyway, if you’re playing these AP bruisers, give it a try. You might be surprised at how much of a difference it makes. I think its worth to have a try.
