OK, so I’ve been messing around with this “Shanna” card in Marvel Snap, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I got her in my collection, noticed she’s a 3-cost card with 4 power. Her main thing is she throws a random 1-cost card onto each location when you play her.
At first, I was like, “Cool, extra bodies on the board,” and started experimenting with her. It’s kinda like gambling, you never know what you’re gonna get at each location. Sometimes it’s awesome, like you get some useful 1-cost dudes that buff your team or mess with your opponent. Other times, it’s a total bust, like when she pulls out cards that either do nothing or, even worse, screw you over. I once got an “Ebony Maw” that I couldn’t play anywhere else, just sitting there mocking me.

I tried fitting her into different kinds of decks, mostly running her with “Zabu” to reduce her cost. I found that you can combo her with cards like “Ka-Zar” or “Blue Marvel” to buff up those random 1-cost cards she summons. You could create some strong combos. Also, I had this idea to pair her with “Mystique” to copy “Blue Marvel’s” ongoing buff, which sounded good on paper, but in practice, it didn’t always pan out as smoothly as I hoped.
Here’s a fun combo I stumbled upon:
- Turn 2: Play “Zabu.”
- Turn 3: Drop “Shanna” and hope for some decent 1-cost cards.
- Turn 4: If you’ve got “Ka-Zar”, play him to boost those 1-cost cards.
- Turn 5: “Blue Marvel” to further pump up your whole board.
- Turn 6: Whatever you have left, maybe an “America Chavez” for a strong play, although some folks online say it’s better to cut her out.
The thing with “Shanna” is she’s super unpredictable. Sometimes, you get a god-tier draw, and she helps you flood the board with buffed-up 1-cost cards, dominating the locations. Other times, she’s just a 3-cost 4-power card that gives you useless junk. She’s really a high-risk, high-reward type of card.
I also checked out what other players are doing with her, and it seems like everyone’s got their own take. Some are trying to build entire decks around her, using cards like “Squirrel Girl” to fill up locations with 1-cost squirrels for “Shanna” to replace. Others are just slotting her into zoo decks to add a bit of chaos.
My Conclusion
After playing a bunch of games, I’ve realized “Shanna” is not a card you can just slap into any deck and expect to win. She needs a specific strategy and a bit of luck. She’s fun to play, no doubt, but if you’re looking to climb ranks consistently, she might not be your best bet. Still, when she works, she really works, and it’s a blast to see all those random cards pop up and change the game. I would say it is a fun experience trying out different combos with “Shanna”.
