Okay, so, I’ve been playing Valorant a lot lately, and like many of us, I got a little carried away with buying skins. I mean, some of them look really cool, right? But then, I realized I wasn’t really using some of them, and well, buyer’s remorse hit me hard. So, I decided to look into how to refund skins in Valorant, and let me tell you, it’s not as complicated as I thought.
First thing I did was check out what Valorant’s refund policy actually is. Turns out, they do allow refunds, but only for stuff that you haven’t used yet. Makes sense, I guess. They can’t exactly take back a skin you’ve already been flashing around in matches.

So, I went through my inventory and picked out the skins I wanted to refund. Had to make sure I hadn’t equipped them even once. That was a bit tough because one of them, I kinda liked it, but I never used it in matches, so I figured it was worth it.
Here’s what I did to get the refund:
- Logged into my account. Pretty straightforward, just like any other time I log in to play.
- Went to the purchase history. You can find it under a purchase history section in settings.
- Found the skin I wanted to refund. I made sure again it was unused, otherwise, the refund option wouldn’t even show up.
- Clicked on the “Refund” button. It’s right there next to each purchase, pretty easy to spot.
- Confirmed the refund. A little pop-up came up asking if I was sure, and I clicked yes. I mean, who reads those things anyway? Just kidding, you should definitely read them, always good to be careful, right?
And that was it! The Valorant Points were back in my account almost instantly. It felt good to get that refund, like a weight off my shoulders. Now I can be a bit more careful about what skins I buy, or maybe just save up for that one special skin I really, really want.
So, if you’re like me and bought some Valorant skins you regret, don’t worry. As long as you haven’t used them, you can get your VP back. Just follow the steps I did, and you should be good to go. Just remember, once you equip the skin, it’s yours for good, no take-backsies!
