Okay, so, I got this idea to make a cyber punk statue, you know, something really cool and edgy. I started by sketching out some designs on paper. Just some rough ideas of what I wanted it to look like, nothing too fancy. Then I gathered my materials. I used a bunch of stuff I found around the house, like old wires, circuit boards, and some metal scraps.
First, I built a basic frame for the statue. I used some sturdy wire to create the skeleton. Then, I started adding the details. I took those old circuit boards and broke them into smaller pieces. Then, I carefully glued them onto the wireframe, creating a sort of futuristic armor. I used different colored wires to add some highlights and make it look more dynamic.

After that, I painted the whole thing with metallic paints to give it that classic cyber punk look. I went with a dark, gritty color scheme, mostly blacks and silvers, with some neon accents here and there. I also added some LED lights to make it really pop. I carefully placed them in strategic spots, like the eyes and some parts of the armor.
Finally, I built a base for the statue using a piece of wood. I painted it black and added some more scrap metal to make it look like it belongs in a dystopian cityscape. The whole process took me a few days, working on it whenever I had some free time. There were some tricky moments, like when I accidentally burned my finger with the glue gun. It is hurt. But hey, it was all worth it in the end.
Here is a summary of what I did:
- Sketched the initial design.
- Gathered materials like wires, circuit boards, and metal scraps.
- Built a wireframe for the statue.
- Attached circuit board pieces to the frame.
- Added colored wires for detail.
- Painted the statue with metallic paints.
- Installed LED lights.
- Constructed a base from wood and scrap metal.
I am pretty happy with how it turned out. It is not perfect, but it is my own creation, and that is what matters. I might make more of these in the future, maybe try out some different designs and techniques. It is a fun and creative way to express my love for the cyberpunk genre. And, you know, it looks pretty cool on my shelf.
