Alright, let’s talk about this “Green Glider Skin” thing I messed with recently. It all started when I was browsing some gaming forums and saw folks talking about it. I’m not a huge gamer, but I like to tinker with stuff, and this seemed like a fun little project. The skin is apparently from Final Fantasy, a game I haven’t played much, but the design looked cool, so I decided to give it a shot.
First, I needed to figure out how to actually get this skin. Some posts mentioned using something called “Bicolor Gemstones”. Sounded kinda fancy, but it’s basically just in-game currency. I did some digging and found out that I could get these gemstones from vendors in a couple of places called “The Crystarium” and “Eulmore.” No idea where those were, but I figured I’d find them eventually.

Then, I got a bit sidetracked. I stumbled upon something called “Green Glider Leather”. Turns out, it’s related to the skin and you can get it by breaking down other items. I thought, “Why not?” and spent some time doing that. It wasn’t the main goal, but hey, it was something to do. I found out you could get this leather from over 20 different “desynths”, whatever that means. It’s like crafting in reverse, I guess.
After messing around with the leather, I went back to the main mission: the skin. I finally located those vendors, Gramsol and Pedronille. Turns out, the skin cost 2 Bicolor Gemstones. Easy peasy. I traded them in and boom, I had the skin. It’s supposed to be the hide of a glider, which sounds kinda weird, but it looks pretty neat. It’s got this shiny green look to it.
Now, here’s where things got a bit tricky. I had the skin item, but I wasn’t sure how to actually use it. Some forum posts talked about a “Hero panel” and activating the skin, but honestly, I couldn’t find it. I ended up just messing around with my inventory, and eventually, it seemed to work. I guess the game just automatically uses the last skin you got. Not very intuitive, but I got there in the end.
So, that’s the story of my Green Glider Skin adventure. It wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, and I probably spent more time on it than I should have, but it was a fun little distraction. I learned a bit about Final Fantasy, even though I still don’t know much about the game. Maybe I’ll actually play it someday. Who knows? Anyway, that’s my experience, hope it was somewhat entertaining!
- Started with curiosity: Saw people talking about it online.
- Figured out the currency: Bicolor Gemstones, got it.
- Sidetracked by leather: Because why not?
- Found the vendors: Gramsol and Pedronille, finally.
- Got the skin: Traded the gemstones, easy.
- Activation confusion: Hero panel? Nope.
- Figured it out eventually: Just kinda worked on its own.
It wasn’t the most exciting thing in the world, but it was a fun little project. I even made a little list of my steps! Might try another skin sometime, who knows.
And that’s all about the Green Glider Skin I got recently, a small piece of cake.
