Alright, so I’ve been digging into this whole “ESO Dremora motif” thing in Elder Scrolls Online, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I really wanted to get my hands on this motif ’cause, you know, it looks pretty cool, and who doesn’t want their character to look badass?
First off, I started by trying to figure out how to actually get this thing. I read somewhere that the only way is to snag it from Guild Traders, and apparently, these motifs are usually pretty cheap. That sounded easy enough, so I started checking out some Guild Traders, hopping from one to another, hoping to find a good deal.

But then, I realized it wasn’t just one piece you needed. You have to collect individual pages for each piece of armor and weapon! So I was like, “Okay, this is gonna take some time.” I kept hunting around, and yeah, the prices weren’t too bad, but it was still a bit of a grind going from trader to trader.
After that, I stumbled upon some info about something called “Dremora Plunder Skulls.” These things supposedly drop these motif chapters, so I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I started taking down all sorts of bosses. I hit up arenas, delves, those big dungeons, and even those crazy invasion events like Dark Anchors and Harrowstorms. You name it, I was there, fighting my heart out.
- Arenas: I spent a good chunk of time in these, and they were tough, but kinda fun.
- Delves: These were a bit easier, so I did a bunch of these to mix things up.
- Dungeons: The final bosses here were no joke, but I managed to get through them.
- Invasions: These were chaotic but in a good way. Lots of people, lots of action.
- Public Dungeons: Similar to delves, but with more folks running around.
I also heard that you could try your luck with pickpocketing, stealing, and just looting random containers. So, whenever I wasn’t busy fighting bosses, I’d try to sneak around and snatch some loot. It was a long shot, but hey, I was willing to try anything.
And you know what? I found out that you can actually get like seven motif pages a day if you target different types of bosses. That was a game-changer. I started planning out my daily routine to make sure I hit all the different boss types to maximize my chances.
My Daily Grind
Every day, I would do my daily quests, keep an eye on Guild Traders, and then go on my boss-killing spree. It was a bit repetitive, but it felt good to see my collection slowly growing.
So yeah, that’s pretty much my story with the Dremora motif. It wasn’t as simple as I thought it would be, but it wasn’t impossible either. Just a lot of grinding, a bit of luck, and a whole lot of patience. Now my character’s looking pretty snazzy in that Dremora gear, and I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out.
