So, I’ve been playing Pokemon Go for a while now, and I’ve always wanted to get my hands on a Mismagius. It’s a Ghost-type Pokemon, and you know, Ghost-types are pretty cool. Plus, it’s got that spooky look that I really dig.
First things first, I had to catch a Misdreavus. See, Mismagius evolves from Misdreavus, so that’s where I started. I spent a few days wandering around, using incense and lures to attract more Pokemon. And let me tell you, catching Misdreavus wasn’t a walk in the park. It kept popping up and disappearing. It took some time, but I finally managed to catch a decent one.

But catching it wasn’t enough. I needed 100 Misdreavus candies to evolve it. That’s a lot of candies! So, I caught a bunch more Misdreavus, transferred the weaker ones to the Professor for extra candies, and used Rare Candies whenever I could. I walked a lot, participated in raids, and did all sorts of things to collect those candies. It was a real grind, to be honest. Every day, I’d go out, catch Pokemon, and hope to get closer to my goal.
And then there’s the Sinnoh Stone. You need one of those to evolve Misdreavus into Mismagius. These stones are pretty rare. I did a lot of research tasks, hoping to get one as a reward. I battled other trainers in PvP, participated in events, and spun every PokeStop I could find. I felt like I was always searching for that stone. It was frustrating at times, but I didn’t give up.
Finally, after weeks of playing, I had enough candies and managed to get a Sinnoh Stone from a research breakthrough. I was so excited! I went to my Pokemon collection, selected the best Misdreavus I had caught, and used the candies and the stone to evolve it. Seeing Misdreavus transform into Mismagius was so satisfying. All that hard work paid off.
Now that I have Mismagius, I’ve been trying it out in battles. I learned that its best moves are Hex and Shadow Ball, so I made sure to teach it those. It’s a pretty strong attacker, especially against other Ghost-type and Psychic-type Pokemon. Sure, it’s vulnerable to Ghost and Dark moves, but every Pokemon has its weaknesses, right? I’ve used it in raids and against Team GO Rocket, and it’s done pretty well. It’s not the strongest Pokemon out there, but I think it holds its own. It’s definitely fun to use in battles, and it looks awesome.
Some people online say Mismagius is useless, but I disagree. It’s been a solid addition to my team. Is it as strong as some other Ghost-types like Giratina? Maybe not, but it’s definitely not useless. And you know what? It’s satisfying to use a Pokemon you worked so hard to get.
- Catch a Misdreavus.
- Collect 100 Misdreavus candies.
- Get a Sinnoh Stone.
- Evolve Misdreavus into Mismagius.
- Teach it Hex and Shadow Ball.
In the end, getting Mismagius in Pokemon Go was a real journey. It took time, effort, and a bit of luck. But it was worth it. Now, whenever I play, I have this cool Ghost-type Pokemon that I worked really hard to get. And that’s a great feeling. It’s not just about having the strongest Pokemon, but also about the journey and the effort you put in.
