Okay, so, today I want to share my experience with playing Seraphine as a support in League of Legends. I’ve been messing around with different champions and builds lately, and Seraphine support caught my eye. Let’s dive into how it went.
First off, I started looking into what the current meta says about Seraphine. Seems like she’s got around a 50.9% win rate, which isn’t too shabby, and a decent pick rate of 3.2%. This is in Emerald+ rank, and she’s sitting at a B tier right now. Based on some data I found, for patch 15.1, the best build seemed to be going with Dream Maker, Ionian Boots of Lucidity, Echoes of Helia, Moonstone Renewer, and Redemption.

I played a bunch of matches, I think over 2,000, just to get a feel for it. It was interesting to see how she works with different team setups. I found that she really shines when paired with melee or engage supports. It makes sense, right? Seraphine needs someone to get into the thick of it so she can land her abilities and keep them alive. Champions with decent base damage also seem to be a good fit for her.
Now, I know her best role statistically is bot lane carry, but I wanted to see how she felt in the support role. I started pairing her up against different champions. Let me tell you, she’s a monster against Swain, Nautilus, and Alistar. But, on the flip side, Shaco really gave me a hard time.
Here’s a breakdown of my usual game plan:
- Early Game: I focused on poking and keeping my ADC safe. Seraphine’s range is pretty good, so I could harass without getting too close.
- Mid Game: This is where I started looking for opportunities to engage with her ultimate. It’s a game-changer if you land it right. Plus, I kept an eye on the map for any roams I could make.
- Late Game: By this point, I was all about team fights. Seraphine’s utility really comes through here. I prioritized peeling for my carries and making sure everyone stayed alive.
Honestly, the games where we had a solid front line and someone to initiate fights were the easiest. Seraphine can do a lot, but she needs the right team comp to really shine. I also noticed that she does really well in games that go on for 40+ minutes. But in those short, quick matches, like under 25 minutes, she struggled a bit more.
Another day, I saw a slightly different build with a 53.35% win rate in Patch 14.14, which ranked her 2 out of 79 supports, making her an S+ tier. I tried this build out, and it felt even better in certain matchups, especially against Swain again.
Overall, playing Seraphine as support has been a blast. She’s not just a one-trick pony; she can adapt to a lot of situations. If you’re thinking about giving her a try, I’d say go for it. Just remember, teamwork makes the dream work, especially with Seraphine.
