So, I was messing around with this Elden Ring build planner thing today. I wanted to get my character just right, you know? Spend a good chunk of my afternoon on it.
First, I fired up this planner tool online. It’s got all the bells and whistles. I mean, everything you see in the game is right there on this planner. It was wild.

I started by picking my character’s class. There are tons of options, but I went with a warrior type. Figured I’d keep it simple for starters. Then, I started tweaking the stats. You gotta pump points into Vigor, Mind, Endurance, and all that jazz. It took me a while to figure out what each one did, I ain’t gonna lie, I just messed around until it felt right, but eventually got the hang of it.
Next up, weapons and armor. This is where it got really fun, but also time consuming. There’s so much stuff to choose from! Swords, axes, big hammers… you name it. I spent a good hour just trying out different weapons, seeing how they affected my stats. Ended up going with a trusty greatsword. For armor, I picked some heavy stuff ’cause I like to get up close and personal with the enemies.
- Choose a class for your character.
- Adjust stats like Vigor, Mind, Endurance, etc.
- Select weapons and armor.
- Optimize the build based on playstyle.
Then there are spells. I didn’t mess with these too much, ’cause I’m more of a melee fighter. But for those who like magic, this planner’s got you covered. You can pick all sorts of spells and see how they’ll work with your build. After spells, I had to think about my equip load. I didn’t want to be too heavy, or I’d be slow as molasses. So, I had to balance my equipment to make sure I could still move around quickly. It’s a delicate dance, let me tell you.
Getting the Build Just Right
After all that, I finally had a build I was happy with. A strong warrior, ready to take on anything. It felt good to see it all come together. This planner is a real lifesaver, especially for someone like me who likes to plan things out. I even tried the random build generator for kicks. It came up with some wacky combinations, but it was fun to see what was possible. If you’re into Elden Ring, you gotta check this thing out. It’s a game-changer, for real. And if you are just starting out like me, try using Moonveil+Staff, it will help you a lot! Or you can also try Faith/Dex or Faith/Strength.
By the end of the day, I felt like a pro. Even though I’m still figuring stuff out, this planner helped me feel more confident about my character. So, if you’re diving into Elden Ring, do yourself a favor and use one of these planners. It’s worth the time, trust me. It made me think that creating my character may take me more than 100 hours to get familiar with.
