Okay, so I’ve been playing Pokémon GO for a while now, and I’ve always been a fan of Grass-type Pokémon. They just seem so chill and nature-y, you know? But, I never really got into the whole “best” Pokémon thing. I just caught what I liked. Recently, though, I decided I wanted to get a bit more serious about raids and stuff, so I started looking into which Grass-type Pokémon are actually worth investing in. Let me tell you, it’s a whole jungle out there!
First, I started looking around to find out which Grass-type Pokemon are the most powerful. There were so many opinions, it was kind of overwhelming. Finally, I found that some people said Kartana is the top dog, or should I say, top plant? Apparently, it’s an Ultra Beast, whatever that means, and it hits like a truck. The recommended moveset was Razor Leaf and Leaf Blade, so I made a mental note of that.

My Top 5 Grass-Type Pokemon
Then I dug deeper and discovered that besides Kartana, there were other great options too. I made a list of the top 5 that people kept mentioning:
- Kartana: Super strong, uses Razor Leaf and Leaf Blade.
- Zarude: I hadn’t even heard of this one before, but it sounded powerful.
- Xurkitree: This one’s actually an Electric type, but it can learn a powerful Grass move called Power Whip, making it a great counter against Water types.
- Tapu Bulu: Another one I didn’t know, but it seemed popular.
- Roserade: Now this one I knew! I’ve always thought Roserade was cool.
But here’s the thing – I didn’t have any of these! I had a bunch of Bulbasaurs and Oddishes, but none of the heavy hitters. So, I went searching for the best grass-type moves. And guess what? There was one that stood out – Bullet Seed. It is said to generate a lot of energy, which is great for using those powerful charge moves more often.
I spent the next few weeks trying to catch these top-tier Grass-types. I finally managed to get a Kartana during a raid, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. That thing shreds through opponents. I also got lucky and caught a Zarude and a Tapu Bulu. I haven’t powered them up yet, but I’m excited to try them out.
I also learned about a Pokémon called Ferrothorn. It’s a Grass and Steel-type, and many say it’s one of the best for defense. It can apparently take a beating and still dish out some serious damage. Also, it could be used in many ways. I managed to catch one, and it’s quickly become one of my favorites.
In the end, I realized that the “best” Grass-type Pokémon depends on what you need it for. Kartana is great for raids, Ferrothorn is awesome for defense, and Xurkitree is a good choice if you need to counter Water-types. It was a fun journey learning about all this, and I’m glad I finally have some powerful Grass-types on my team. Now, I just need to level them up and get them ready for battle. Wish me luck!
