Today, I was playing a game on Steam and wanted to check out the achievements. But I found that some of them were hidden, and I had no clue what they were about.
So, I started to look around to figure this out. First, I checked my game in the library and the store, but nope, no hidden achievements. Then I remembered that there used to be a global achievements page. I could at least see the titles there, even if the descriptions were empty.

I tried refreshing the page a few times, but that didn’t work. Next, I made sure that the Steam Overlay was on. I pressed Shift + Tab in-game to check, and it popped up, so that was fine.
Then, I thought maybe a simple restart would do the trick. I right-clicked the Steam icon on my taskbar and clicked Exit. After that, I launched Steam and the game again. Still nothing. I also made sure the game wasn’t marked as private. It will make it look like I don’t own the game. It won’t show up on my Steam profile.
I went through all these steps, tried everything I could think of. In the end, I finally found a way to see those hidden achievements!

The Final Way I Did It
- Go to the game’s store page.
- Click on “View all achievements”
- Scroll all the way down, and they were right there! The hidden ones had a question mark on them.
It was a bit of a hassle, but I got there in the end. Just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else runs into the same issue.
