Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out how to redeem codes in MLB The Show, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I finally got it down, so I figured I’d share my experience to save you guys some time and frustration.
First off, I got this code that I needed to use. I mean, who doesn’t love free stuff, right? So, I fired up the game, ready to claim my goodies. But then, I hit a wall. Where the heck do I even enter this thing?

I poked around the menus for a good while. Nothing. I even restarted the game, thinking maybe it needed a little refresh. Nope, still no luck. Feeling a bit defeated, I thought, “Alright, time to hit the internet.”
After some digging, I finally found some instructions. Here’s the lowdown on what I did to finally get my code redeemed:
- Find Your Code and Game ID: First, you gotta have your redemption code handy. Then, I had to find my account’s Game ID. It wasn’t super obvious where to find this, but eventually, I found it in my game profile.
- Head to the Right Place: I had to enter my code and the Game ID on the game’s website. It’s simple enough.
- Click “Send”: This is where it got a little tricky. I hit the “Send” button, and it said it was sending a verification code to my in-game mailbox. Okay, cool.
- Check Your Mailbox: So, I went back into the game, and sure enough, there was a message with a code. Finally!
- Enter the Verification Code: I hopped back to the website, entered the verification code from my in-game mail, and clicked “Redeem.”
- Boom! Gifts Received: And just like that, the game told me I’d get my gifts in my in-game mailbox. I checked, and there they were!
I did learn something extra too. Apparently, if you pre-order the game digitally, the stuff gets added to your Diamond Dynasty account automatically when you install it. Wish I’d known that before! For physical copies, you’re gonna be doing the steps I just outlined.
Anyway, it was a bit of a process, but I finally got it done. Hopefully, this helps you guys out if you’re stuck trying to redeem a code in MLB The Show. Game on!
