Alright, guys, so let’s talk about what I did today. I’ve been messing around with this game called “Pokemon Emerald Plus Plus” and I figured I’d share my whole experience with you.
First off, I started by getting my hands on this modified version of Pokemon Emerald. Sounds simple, right? But it’s a bit more than just your regular Pokemon game. This one’s got Pokemon from generations 1 through 8. Yeah, you heard that right, up to gen 8! So, I downloaded it, which was pretty straightforward.

Once I got it running, the first thing I noticed was the EXP Share feature. Now, for those of you who don’t know, this thing lets all your Pokemon get experience points after a battle, not just the one that fought. Super handy for leveling up your squad without the grind.
Catching and Battling
Then, I started exploring, catching Pokemon. The cool part? You can catch Pokemon from the first three generations in the wild. This gave me a ton of options for my team. And, guess what? Pokeballs are dirt cheap in this game. I mean, super affordable. This made catching Pokemon a breeze. I was filling up my Pokedex like it was nothing.
- I caught a bunch of Pokemon I normally couldn’t in the regular Emerald.
- It was wild seeing Pokemon from later generations just chilling in Hoenn.
Then there’s the battling. Oh boy, the battles. So, in this version, your Pokemon can evolve mid-battle. Yeah, mid-battle! Imagine your little guy leveling up and evolving right there in the heat of the moment. It’s pretty awesome and adds a whole new level of excitement to the fights.
Other Cool Stuff
Another thing I really liked was that your Pokemon follow you around. I know, it sounds like a small thing, but it makes the game feel so much more alive. It’s like, your Pokemon are really there with you on your adventure.
But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. I did notice that a few Hoenn Pokemon aren’t in this version. Like Surskit, Masquerain, and a couple of others. It’s a bit of a bummer, but honestly, with all the other Pokemon you can get, I didn’t really miss them that much.
So, yeah, that’s pretty much my day with Pokemon Emerald Plus Plus. It’s a wild ride, mixing old and new, and making the whole Pokemon experience feel fresh. If you’re a Pokemon fan, you gotta try this out. It’s a whole different ball game, seriously.
