Alright, so I’ve been playing Pokemon Go for a while now, and there’s this one Pokemon that always gives me a hard time: Snorlax. This big guy is a Normal-type, and he’s a real pain in the neck to take down in raids. So, I decided to do something about it and figure out how to beat him.
First, I started looking around to see what other people were saying. Turns out, the best way to counter Snorlax is with Fighting-type Pokemon. I guess it makes sense since Snorlax is weak to Fighting-type moves.

Then, I started doing some digging to find the best of the best Fighting-type Pokemon to use. Here’s what I came up with:
- Mega Lucario: This guy seems to be the top dog. He’s got a ton of power and can really dish out the damage.
- Mega Heracross: Another strong contender. Heard he’s got some serious moves.
- Lucario: Even without the Mega evolution, Lucario is a solid choice.
- Terrakion: This one’s a Legendary, so I figured it had to be good.
- Mega Blaziken: A Fire and Fighting-type, which sounds pretty cool.
- Shadow Conkeldurr: Apparently, the Shadow version is even stronger.
After gathering all this info, I decided to put it to the test. I went out and found a Snorlax raid. I picked my team carefully, making sure to include some of these top counters. Let me tell you, it made a huge difference! My Mega Lucario really did some damage, and I was able to take down that Snorlax much faster than before.
One thing I noticed, too, is that Snorlax doesn’t do much damage with Ghost-type moves, so that’s good to know. I could focus on using my Fighting-types without worrying too much about those.
My Advice
So, if you’re struggling with Snorlax in Pokemon Go, definitely try using some strong Fighting-type Pokemon. Trust me, it makes a world of difference. Don’t be scared, gather your strongest fighters and get into that raid battle!
