So, I’ve been playing a ton of Pokemon Go lately, trying to catch ’em all, you know? And there’s this one Pokemon that’s been a real pain – Snorlax. This big guy is tough to beat in raids and gyms, so I decided to figure out how to take him down.
First, I did some digging online. I read that Snorlax is only weak against Fighting-type attacks. That’s it, just one weakness! This meant I needed to get some strong Fighting-type Pokemon on my team.

Getting My Fighting-Type Team Ready
- Mega Lucario: I saw a lot of people talking about this one. I was lucky enough to have one and let me tell you, it is a beast!
- Lucario: Even without the Mega evolution, regular Lucario is a solid choice. I made sure to power up mine as much as I could.
- Mega Heracross: I didn’t have this one yet, but I read that it was powerful too. I put it on my list to look out for.
- Terrakion: I heard this Legendary Pokemon was good, so I made sure to grab one when it was available in raids.
- Mega Blaziken: I had this one from way back. I dusted it off and gave it some love.
- Shadow Conkeldurr: I had the Shadow version, not the normal one. I heard it was a good counter too.
I spent some time getting these Pokemon, leveling them up, and making sure they had the best Fighting-type moves. I really focused on moves like Close Combat because I learned that this move is really strong against Snorlax.
Putting My Plan into Action
Once I felt like my team was ready, I started looking for Snorlax raids. When I found one, I jumped in, excited to see how my new team would do. And guess what? It worked! My Fighting-type Pokemon did some serious damage to Snorlax. Especially that Mega Lucario, it was really shining. And you know, regular Lucario was great too.
I kept practicing and using this strategy in other raids and even gym battles. The more I did it, the better I got at taking down Snorlax. It felt good to finally have a way to beat this tough Pokemon.
So, if you’re struggling against Snorlax in Pokemon Go, remember to use those Fighting-types! Get yourself a Mega Lucario, a Lucario, or any of the others I mentioned. Level them up, give them the right moves, and you’ll be knocking out Snorlax in no time. Trust me, it feels awesome to finally take down that big, sleepy giant!
