Okay, so I’ve been trying to get my hands on this Campfire Pokemon Go map thing. It’s not super straightforward, but I finally figured it out, so let me tell you how I did it.
First off, I launched the Pokemon Go app on my phone. You know, the usual drill, tap the icon, wait for it to load. I made sure I was logged in and everything. Then I started hunting for some Pokemon. Gotta catch ’em all, right? I just walked around my neighborhood.

- Catch some Pokemon: I caught a bunch of Pokemon, just the regular ones I could find nearby. I made sure to use the quick catch method cause it’s way faster. I just slid the ball option to the left, held it and threw.
- Walk around a bit: I made sure to cover some ground. The more I walked, the more Pokemon I encountered, which was pretty cool. I hit up a bunch of Pokestops and gyms along the way to stock up on items.
- Share to Campfire: After catching a Pokemon, I noticed a little menu button on the bottom right of the screen. Once I tapped it, I saw something called “Catch Card.” I clicked on that and saw an option to “Share to Campfire.” That’s the key!
Once I did that, the Pokemon I just caught was shared on the Campfire map. It’s pretty neat because you can see what other trainers are catching in your area. It’s like a little community thing within the game.
Some extra things I did along the way
I also tried to find some rarer Pokemon, but no luck this time. I did a lot of walking, cause people say it helps. I added some friends from far away and sent them gifts. Trading gifts seems like a good way to get some special Pokemon too.
The whole thing was a bit of a learning curve, but now I’ve got the Campfire map up and running. It’s a cool way to see what’s happening in the Pokemon Go world around me.
