Alright, so, let’s talk about these League of Legends placements, huh? I jumped back into ranked recently, and man, it’s a wild ride. Started the whole process, you know, fresh account, ready to climb. First thing’s first, gotta play those placement matches.
So, I queued up for my first game. Felt pretty good, picked my main, you know how it is. We loaded in, and bam, instant realization that this wasn’t gonna be a walk in the park. The enemies were decent, my team, well, let’s just say they had their moments. Played my heart out, but it wasn’t enough, we took the L. Not the best start, but hey, it’s just one game, right?

- First Game: A tough loss, but I kept my chin up.
Moved on to the second match. This time, things went a bit smoother. My team was more coordinated, and I was popping off. We secured objectives, rotated well, and closed it out with a W. Felt good to get that first win under my belt.
- Second Game: A solid win, team played well, I played well.
The next couple of games were a mixed bag. Some wins, some losses, you know, the usual ranked experience. I was trying my best, focusing on my own gameplay, trying to improve with each match.
- Third Game: Lost.
- Fourth Game: Another loss. It happens.
- Fifth Game: Won this one!
The Final Verdict
After all five placement matches, I ended up with two wins and three losses. Not the best record, but it is what it is. The system did its thing, calculating my MMR based on those games. I got placed in a certain rank, which I won’t tell you because it is embarrasing, but it is just a starting point, anyway. Plenty of time to climb, right? But after my placement matches, the system matched me with other players with the similar level, that is a good thing.
Overall, the placement experience was, well, an experience. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions, wins and losses, good teammates and, well, not-so-good teammates. But, that’s just how League is. Now, it’s time to grind and see how high I can climb this season. Wish me luck!
